IBM QUANTUM INNOVATION CENTER - Polish Center for Quantum Computing
Information
 about the Project
Support for entities carrying out public tasks in the field of digital innovation for science and the information society - providing access to the IBM Quantum Innovation Center node.
Access Platform Architecture
The Polish IBM Quantum quantum computing center provides an interface between the quantum computer and end users.
As a result, it's possible to run a wide variety of user experiments and computational tasks on the physical resources of a quantum computer. The platform and tools allow users to manage and monitor assigned tasks and reading the results.
Software development is made possible by programming libraries and a testing environment that utilizes classical computers and supercomputers.

Administration and management
of quantum computations

Groups and projects are assigned to the Polish quantum computing node. Users working on the project can submit computational tasks using the allocation assigned to a specific group and project combination.

Queueing system
Task execution management and scheduling on the quantum computer rely on a dynamic queueing system that provides fair resource allocation among various groups, projects, and their users.
Access to the latest
e-infrastructure
In the Cyber Poland 2025 program, the integration of supercomputers into Poland's strategic resources is planned, intended to serve as tools for advanced engineering simulations and processing large amounts of data. To meet ambitious assumptions in the realm of digital innovations for science and the information society. Poland needs to ensure access to the latest e-infrastructure, which includes supercomputers, and ultimately, quantum computers. This is necessary to enable all interested parties to use innovative tools.
IBM Quantum
Network

Access to the IBM quantum computing network has been launched at PCSS as part of the Polish quantum computing node initiative.

The IBM Quantum Innovation Network is a top-class global community, bringing together Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, academic institutions, and research laboratories, all working on the development of quantum computing and exploring its practical applications. Members of the network and the teams at the IBM Quantum Innovation Center collaborate to explore and analyzehow quantum computing can assist and transform modern IT across various industries and disciplines, including finance, energy, chemistry, materials science, optimization, and machine learning. In 2022, as part of the Polish quantum computing node, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and Institute of Theoretical and Applied Computer Science PAN.

Zapraszamy nowe jednostki naukowo-badawcze do kontaktu.
